Idlecore Google · Version 0.1

Terms of use

Effective and last updated: 8 October 2026

Idlecore Google is a private, personal-use project operated by Osman Egal. These terms describe use of the connector and its information pages. It is not a public signup service, and the operator charges no fee for this connector.

Purpose and current scope

The connector gives a locally running Hermes agent read-only access to selected Google accounts through Google’s APIs. Version 0.1 supports Gmail search and reading, Calendar reading and availability checks, and Drive search and supported text reading.

It does not send email, create drafts, change calendar events, edit files or change sharing permissions. An AI-generated answer is not a change to your Google records.

Your accounts and choices

Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to access. You choose which accounts to authorize, which account to use for a request, and which model provider Hermes uses. Follow any workplace or account-administrator restrictions that apply to your data.

Read the privacy policy before connecting. Google data used in a Hermes request can be processed by the configured model provider and retained according to the relevant settings and terms.

External services

Google, Hermes and any configured model provider have their own terms and data practices. Their services, permissions, limits and availability can change. The connector does not replace those terms or guarantee that an external service will remain available.

There is no connector subscription fee. Any account, hosting, network or model-provider charges are separate.

Check important results

Responses may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Read limits and account permissions can restrict what the connector returns, and model-generated summaries can contain errors. Check the original Google record before relying on important information.

This personal project may be updated, paused or discontinued. It does not include a promised uptime or support response time.

Stopping access

You can stop using the connector and revoke its authorization through Google Account connections at any time. Locally disabling an account stops connector use but does not revoke Google authorization or delete saved records.

The privacy policy explains local records, Hermes retention and removal options. Revocation does not delete your original Google content or previously retained Hermes records.
